Pergola Builder Needed — Blueprint Reading Required — Rockland County

An independent contractor is seeking pergola and shade-structure builders for projects based in Rockland County, New York. Work may also take place in surrounding New York areas and North Jersey. Applicants must be willing and able to travel between job sites. Responsibilities may include: • Reading construction plans and blueprints • Taking accurate field measurements • Laying out pergolas from drawings and site conditions • Building and installing pergolas and shade structures • Coordinating directly with the contractor regarding scope and scheduling Experience sought: • Ability to read and build from plans • Experience with pergolas, decks, exterior carpentry, framing, gazebos, pavilions, or similar structures • Ability to perform accurate measurements and layout work • Transportation between job sites • Clear communication regarding availability and prior experience Photos or examples of previous pergola, deck, framing, or exterior carpentry work are encouraged. Compensation is arranged directly with the contractor. Depending on the project, work may be paid per square foot or through a project-based subcontract arrangement. Final scope, rate, scheduling, and payment terms will be discussed directly between the contractor and the selected worker. Start timing will be coordinated directly with the contractor.
