Full-time finishing role at a contemporary art frame studio in the Brooklyn Navy Yard area. Hands-on work with staining, spray finishing, and hand-applied techniques on museum-quality frames. What you'll do: • Stain frames using water-based soluble dye powders • Run a spray booth with HVLP system for priming and painting • Apply hand finishes (oils, wax, polishes, brushed, rubs) and hand-sand with attention to detail • Custom color match and mix; contribute to creative finishing processes What you need: • Experienced (self-reported) in wood/frame finishing techniques • Available Monday–Friday, 9–5, plus overtime (full-time W2, no part-time) • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with a fabrication team Apply on Crew Finder Pro to get connected.
